The Port of Dover were experiencing malfunctioning traffic light systems at the western  Eastern and exit of the port. Without the lights working as they should, marine traffic was not flowing through the port as usual.

Our engineers were called in to diagnose and repair the system. As the lights are imperative to the safe & smooth operation of Dover Marina, it was vital that the issue was rectified quickly.

Upon arrival, the original antenna fitted by the manufacturer was located on the inside of the port control window.

Our engineers relocated the antenna to the rooftop where it has an unobstructed line of sight to the traffic lights. The higher the antenna with fewer obstructions, the more effective it will be.

The Port of Dover is now able to control the traffic lights without incident, bringing safety back to the heart of the Port.
