HALO Smart Sensor

Motorola HALO Smart Sensor 3C

The Motorola HALO Smart Sensor 3C is a powerful environmental and safety monitoring device. It is designed to help organisations improve health, safety, and security inside buildings.

Building on IP Video Corporation’s proven detection technology, the latest HALO Smart Sensor introduces enhanced multicolour LED alert lighting. In addition, it improves motion detection, panic button integration, and installation flexibility.

Furthermore, it retains key features such as gunshot detection, noise alerts, and emergency keyword recognition. As a result, organisations gain a more responsive and visible alert system.

Halo Alert Lighting and Audio

EMERGENCY ALERT

The Motorola HALO Smart Sensor 3C includes a distinctive halo of multicoloured LED lights. These lights can be programmed to display different colours and patterns. Consequently, staff can instantly recognise different types of alerts.

Halo Panic Button

Panic Button

In combination with HALO Cloud and the HALO Cloud App, Users can trigger email or mobile push notification alerts with IPVideo Corporation’s iPanic™ panic button.

Halo Noise Detection

Noise Detection

The Motorola HALO Smart Sensor 3C includes a motion sensor which can be used to trigger a time-based notification, if motion is detected in an area that is meant to be unoccupied, or before or after hours.

Halo CO2 Reporting

Air monitoring

The HALO is capable of giving real time readings of several hazardous gases; CO, CO2, NH3, as well as air bourne particulates. Helping to maintian a safe and healthy workplace.

HALO SMART SENSOR

HALO - Motorola Smart Sensor

The Motorola HALO Smart Sensor is an all-in-one intelligent device that helps keep buildings safe. It detects triggers such as vaping, motion, and aggression. The sensor ensures security and maintains the privacy of individuals using areas where recording is not permitted, whilst detecting air quality and other anomalies which would go unnoticed by security cameras.

Environmental Monitoring Platform

Our monitoring platform provides continuous visibility of indoor air quality, helping organisations operate within occupational health guidelines and government exposure limits. By tracking key environmental parameters in real time, the system highlights developing issues before they become health, safety, or compliance risks.

An easy-to-use dashboard presents live readings, historical trends, and clear reports. These support audits, investigations, and long-term improvement of indoor environments. Teams install the platform on site for closed or security-sensitive networks. Alternatively, they can host it in the cloud for authorised access from anywhere.

Teams can define custom thresholds for each site, area, or sensor. Where air quality limits are exceeded for sustained periods, the system automatically escalates the issue, sending SMS alerts to nominated personnel to ensure timely intervention and avoid nuisance alarms from short-term fluctuations.

Historical data and analytics allow facilities teams to demonstrate compliance, identify recurring problem areas, and take evidence-based corrective action.

Real-Time Monitoring and Analytics

HALO Smart Sensors continuously monitor indoor air quality and related environmental conditions that impact health and wellbeing. Integrated multicolour LED indicators provide immediate on-site visual awareness when conditions deteriorate, reinforcing alerts delivered through the monitoring platform.

Unlike traditional sensors that focus on a single metric, HALO continuously evaluates health-related indicators such as air quality indices, gases, particulates, temperature, and humidity alongside safety and incident markers. These include aggression signatures, motion, tampering attempts, panic button activation, and audible distress keywords. In addition, specialist detection capabilities allow the identification of vaping, smoking, THC, and chemical presence without using cameras or recording conversations.

This layered sensing approach enables early awareness of developing risks while maintaining privacy by design. As a result, organisations gain actionable insight into indoor conditions and potential incidents at the point they occur, rather than relying solely on downstream monitoring or manual reporting.
